Theft from Mail Boxes

The Menomonee Falls and Brookfield Police have recently taken several reports of thefts of mail from residential curbside mailboxes. The thieves targeted mailboxes that had the “red flag” up, and searched inside the mailboxes for mail that would likely contain personal financial information of the victims. In Menomonee Falls, two thefts occurred on Monday, March 15th during the morning hours, both on the south end of the Village, on Sumac Street and Bette Drive.
Following these thefts, attempts were unsuccessfully made at each victim’s personal banking institution.
Suspect Description:
White male
5’11” and 250 lbs.
Hair is shaved short
Last seen wearing bright blue nylon athletic pants, white t-shirt with black horizontal stripes (un-tucked), black & bright blue nylon jacket, and white tennis shoes. He also had on either transition eyeglasses or very light colored sunglasses.
Anyone with information and/or observing anyone looking into mailboxes should immediately contact the Menomonee Falls Police Department at 262-532-1700
