I wanted to reach out and personally invite you to participate in the 2026 Menomonee Falls Police Citizen Academy. If you have been considering attending, now is the time to submit your application, as the deadline is quickly approaching and there are only a limited number of spots available.

The 16th session of the Police Citizen Academy will take place every Tuesday, from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, starting September 8, 2026 through December 8, 2026. Each week, participants will spend approximately 2 ½ hours learning about different aspects of the police department and the law enforcement profession.
Topics will include: patrol procedures and traffic enforcement, use of force, defense & arrest tactics, crash investigation, crime scene and evidence processing, K9 Unit, Tactical Enforcement Unit, Crisis Negotiations, Drug Enforcement Unit, Special Investigations Unit and case debriefs, firearms safety, and emergency vehicle operation.
The Police Citizen Academy is an excellent opportunity to gain a better understanding of the work our officers do every day, see some of our specialized units in action, and learn more about the challenges and responsibilities of modern law enforcement. As Neighborhood Watch Captains, you already play an important role in keeping our community informed and connected. I think you would find the Academy particularly valuable and would welcome the opportunity to have you participate.
Time is running out to submit your application! Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, and I hope you will consider joining us for our 2026 Police Citizen Academy.
