Fallen Officer In Memory... On Sunday, May 21, 2017, you are invited to stand with the Menomonee Falls Police Department, as we gather for the annual Police Memorial Service, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the John S. Taylor, Jr. Park. As first responders we have a special bond that the average citizen has a hard time understanding. Yet we know that those in the fire service and those in law enforcement place their lives on the line to protect the people and property of our village and the surrounding area. 2017 will mark the 40th Anniversary of the line of duty death for Menomonee Falls Police Officer John Taylor. The workshop will provide information about the 2015 Comprehensive Plan Update and will offer a variety of interactive ways for participants to share their vision for the future. Input received will help shape the goals and recommendations of the Village’s Comprehensive Plan. Topics at the workshop include housing, transportation, land use, community resources, economic development, and health. National Night Out (Tuesday August 4th, 2015)

Tomorrow night please have your porch light on at 6:00pm in celebration of National Night Out (NNO).  Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits. Menomonee Falls has 10 neighborhoods participating where we have 2 Caravans visiting 5 neighborhoods.  The caravans include a firetruck, police vehicles and other official vehicles may participate.  If you'd like to participate next year pay attention to future announcements around April/May timeframe.  Here's the NNO organization website https://natw.org/about
